{"id":198,"date":"2025-05-09T12:00:42","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T03:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cont-ractgroup.com\/cont-ract-logistics\/en\/?p=198"},"modified":"2025-06-30T12:23:52","modified_gmt":"2025-06-30T03:23:52","slug":"20250509-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cont-ractgroup.com\/cont-ract-logistics\/en\/20250509-2\/","title":{"rendered":"\u3010News\u3011Appointed as Board Member of the Chiba Cosmetics Industry Association"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>We are pleased to announce that <strong>Contract Logistics Corporation<\/strong> has been officially appointed as a <strong>board member of the <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><em><span style=\"color: #ffff99;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/chibaken-keshohin-kogyokai.jimdofree.com\/\" style=\"color: #ffff99;\">Chiba Cosmetics Industry Association<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/strong> at its 48th General Meeting held on <strong>May 9, 2025<\/strong>.<br \/>\r\nThis industry association, composed primarily of cosmetics manufacturers based in Chiba Prefecture, plays a vital role in sharing regulatory updates\u2014particularly regarding Japan\u2019s Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act (PMDA, formerly known as the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law)\u2014as well as promoting collaboration across the industry.<br \/>\r\nWhat makes this appointment especially noteworthy is that <strong>our company is the first logistics provider to serve on the board<\/strong>. We consider this a recognition of our continued commitment to ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and quality throughout the cosmetics supply chain.<br \/>\r\nAlthough the regulatory revision in 2005 opened the door for logistics providers to obtain licenses in the field of cosmetics manufacturing (specifically in packaging, labeling, and storage), many such companies have not actively engaged in industry associations or regulatory communities. We obtained our license in 2019, and since then, we have been playing a critical supporting role in cosmetics logistics, with a strong focus on compliance and quality.<br \/>\r\nAs a board member, we hope to serve as a <strong>bridge between manufacturers and logistics service providers<\/strong>, fostering stronger collaboration and mutual understanding within the industry. We believe this kind of integration is essential for building a more reliable and efficient cosmetics supply chain.<br \/>\r\nWe look forward to learning from fellow members and contributing our unique perspective as a logistics specialist.
